Dr. Otto is currently a faculty member at California Satiate University, Fullerton in the Elementary & Bilingual Education and Literacy & Reading Education departments. A graduate of Claremont Graduate University with an emphasis in learning and culture, her research on Asian-American education, particularly Korean-American education with an emphasis on indigenous achievement frameworks and Asian invisibility for teacher education. Dr. Otto has presented her work on Korean- American achievement and Asian Invisibility at numerous regional and national conferences such as WCAAS and AERA and is the proud author of numerous publications. Also a former K-12 educator, she looks forward to many more years advancing the field of education as it is influenced by Asian and Korean Americans.
